The Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Study seeks a detail-oriented student to help manage accounts associated with Scalar as well as other projects and platforms supported by the Ahmanson Lab. Scalar is an authoring and publishing platform used by faculty and students in college and university courses worldwide to create born-digital, media-rich research projects and exhibitions.

This is a part-time position requiring between 5-10 hours a week. Schedule is completely flexible and all work can be done remotely.

• Verify account registration requests initiated from outside USC.
• Monitor new Scalar projects for violations to the platform’s Terms of Service and to USC’s Information Security Policies.
• Delete Scalar projects (and associated user accounts) containing content that is in violation of the platform’s Terms of Service and to USC’s Information Security Policies.
