The USC Sidney Harman Academy for Polymathic Study seeks a dedicated student to assist with technology, services, and programming at the Ahmanson Lab. The Lab Assistant will help maintain and operate technology at the Lab, assist with technology training, and perform administrative tasks as needed. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Help run technology-focused workshops (e.g. workshops on 3D printing, microcontrollers, and related topics).
• Help students and faculty implement technology for select Ahmanson Lab Collaboratories and Working Groups.
• Assist students with Lab technology during open lab hours.
• Assist with outreach and promotional efforts for Ahmanson Lab events.

Required:

• Working knowledge of microcontrollers
• Working knowledge of 3D printing

Preferred:

• Experience with AR and VR systems
• Experience with Unity
• Basic coding skills
