Doheny Library is seeking an honest, respectful, and responsible USC Work-Study student. This is not a circulation desk position.
Duties primarily include, but are not limited to, the following: meticulous data processing of monographs and serials; sorting and inventorying East Asian Current Journals and other DML stacks materials. Other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must be assiduous with an eye for mistakes and adaptable. The ideal candidate must be an efficient communicator and eager to learn. They must be open to receiving and providing feedback to their supervisor. Familiarity with the Library of Congress classification system is desirable. All qualified candidates must have work-study. Candidates are expected to adhere to all USC health and safety protocols. Physical demands not limited to: Frequent computer/keyboard/mouse use; occasional repetitive motion; occasional climbing on step-stool; ability to see/hear/speak, stand/sit/balance; ability to occasionally lift/push/pull up to approximately 15-20 lbs.; simple grasping with left, right, or both hands; fine manipulation and flexion/extension and pinching with left, right, or both hands; reach above shoulder; bend/twist, turn or tilt at the neck/waist. Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as: preparing and transcribing information; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
