The Music Library seeks undergraduate and graduate student employees with library and/or subject experience in Music, Dance, and/or Dramatic Arts to provide quality customer service to patrons at the Music Library service desk. We are looking for student assistants who are reliable, proactive, and available to work specific shifts:

• Tuesday 5-7p
• Wednesday 9-11a & 1-7p
• Thursday 12-2p
• Friday 11a-2p

You should be able to lift 40-50 lbs. and sit/stand for extended periods of time, and you must be able to work on a team. Student assistants are expected to adhere to USC health and safety protocols.

Duties at the Music Library service desk include: circulating materials, staffing and opening/closing the Music Library, helping patrons with printing and scanning, answering reference questions, as well as processing patron hold requests and course reserves. Bookstacks duties include, but are not limited to: shelving, maintaining stacks, shifting, weeding, and shelf-reading. Library Supervisors and Librarians may assign other projects as needed.

Looking for students of music, theater or dance, or with performance experience. Library experience preferred, but not necessary.
