The Norris Medical Library located at the Health Sciences Campus, 2003 Zonal Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90089 is seeking friendly, reliable, and mature individuals for the position of Student Library Assistant. Job duties include, but are not limited to: assisting library patrons at the Circulation Desk in person and over the phone, discharging/charging materials, shelving, shelf-reading, updating patron records, answering directional questions, conducting hourly patron counts, assisting with clearing patrons from the building before closing and immediately after closing, and referring reference questions to the appropriate staff. Special projects are assigned as needed.

Qualified applicants must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Additionally, candidates must be reliable, punctual, have a great work ethic, exhibit self-initiative, and be able to work well with others while also being able to work independently.
