The Ahmanson Lab seeks a student capable of standing up a production-ready instance of Scalar—an open-source publishing platform built on PHP, MySQL, and CodeIgniter—by configuring a LAMP server, cloning and patching the codebase, importing the starter database, setting encryption keys, and and writing a concise hand-off guide for ongoing maintanence. This is a project-based position, expected to take approximately 40–60 hours by the end of summer, with possible opportunities for ongoing work supporting Scalar maintenance into the academic year.
