The USC Marshall School of Business, Master of Management in Library and Information Science (MMLIS) program is seeking a student assistant. Your job will to be assist the Coordinator of Student Services for the MMLIS program. Duties include (but are not limited to): Spreadsheet generation and data entry Filling, addressing, and sending letters or packages to MMLIS students Purchasing materials for the MMLIS students and program Sending materials to MMLIS students Completion of tasks in the learning management system to test for effectiveness Photocopying/Scanning Staffing conferences (staffing the MMLIS booth, assisting the Program Administrator, helping with check-in, etc.) Completing miscellaneous tasks to assist the MMLIS Program Administrator Candidate must be willing to work 10 hours a week, but the schedule is flexible. Times will be Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualified candidate must be fluent in English, detail-oriented, a fast learner, and willing to perform repetitive tasks. He or she must be a customer-oriented problem-solver. Candidates must be flexible and able to change tasks without warning to accommodate items of high priority. Candidates should have an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and knowledge of professional etiquette. He or she must be display a positive attitude toward work, be highly organized, and always willing to ask questions if clarification is needed.
