Duties and Responsibilities:

The student will sort archival materials relating to the Holocaust and the Nuremberg Trials.
The work includes performing basic preservation work and entering related data into a database (training for all required tasks will be provided).

Basic German reading and writing skills are highly preferred; proficiency in the English language is required.
The incumbent is expected to commit to working at least two days a week with a minimum of three to four hours each day.

Job Qualifications:

This position requires a commitment to working regular weekly hours, adherence to high quality standards, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork are required. Student Assistants must be reliable, arrive to work on time, and have the ability to accurately follow directions from supervisors, have the ability to handle rare and fragile materials with care.
